After months of research and switching between point and shoots and dslr, I have finally decided to go with the Nikon d50. Through pricegrabber I found the camera and 1GB ultra II card for $763.50 shipped to my door. This is with the kit lens 18-55mm. Is there anything I should know about before I place my order? Anyone know of any good deals coming up soon or anticipate a price drop coming soon after Christmas?
    Thanks
    Justin

Thanks for that. I looked them up (BeachCamera.com) and they have a very strong rating (9.39 based on 400 reviews).

Make sure to choose at least 2nd day shipping. I ordered my d70s from B&H and even at two day shipping the waiting is killing me!

Same here, I just picked up a battery grip, much better to hold ( I got big hands).
Way Way better than my coolpix 5400.
I Love it too!!! Now if I can just figure out what all it can do. :lmao:
