One more from my smoke art collection:
very, very cool
That's trippy as all hell. I love it. Does anyone else see a few faces in it?
Spectacular. I just wish it were as sharp at the top as it is in the rest of the image.
Excellently done =]
AMAZING! love it. What settings did you use?
Thanks all. I have some other recent smoke shots on this forum as well. Flawed: the settings were ISO 100, f/5.6, 1/125.
"S" for smoke mode
how did you get the colors in?
Carlos, the color in this one was already there. Generally you get varying shades of a deep blue and gray. When you invert them in PS and basically create a digital negative of the image, you get the nice sharp white backgrounds and these sort of tones in color. In my others, I select the general shape of the smoke with the magic wand and then color it either w/ an overlay layer or with the brush.
Ive GOT to learn how to do this!
