  2. I had hoped for a more exotic camera to show the power and potential of the new system, but I guess it makes sense to start with cameras that we already know.

    I'm keeping an eye on this, but I really want to see through the Viewfinder to get a sense if the eVF is really that good.

    Iron, it's the same EVF technology used in their pro line ($30K +) video camera EVFs. I know this type and it's really great! It's 1.4 million dots which is pretty awesome! My A2 is just a hair shy of 1 million and that's pretty great. The two things combined and I bet you couldn't tell it was an EVF if you didn't already know it. I mean besides the display of text, icons, and animations as you use it. ;)

    Damn it tho... No movie mode and no interval time sequencing. Two big big misses IMO. Oh well... The G2?? :D
