What's a good price to pay for a good condition Minolta AF 85mm f1.4?
I'd say if you found one for $5 that'd be a good price.
sorry...I know that's no help, but I couldn't resist.
WOW that was no help at all.
I am interested in one but I don't feel like getting ripped off.
Man...those are expensive. I always start by looking at Ebay and see what the going rate is. Looks like you'll be spending up around $900-$1000 USD. I did find one for $565...but there's still 5 days left in the auction and it already has 10 bids on it.
Do you have someone offering you one and you just want to know if it's reasonable, or have you just now started looking for one? I'm surprised at the high price for an old lens. I just got a minolta 50mm/1.7 for my Sony A-100 and I think it was only around $70.
ya i've got that 50 as well paid $50 for it.
just looking into the 85
Pardon the caps.... cut-n-paste from KEH.....
85 F1.4 (72) WITH HOOD, CAPS, 35MM SLR AUTO FOCUS TELEPHOTO LENS LN- $999.00 EX+ $889.00
85 F1.4 G (72) WITH HOOD, CAPS, 35MM SLR AUTO FOCUS TELEPHOTO LENS EX $1220.00
These are a bit higher than ebay, but you get so much more in dealing with KEH
