I own a T1i and want to use old lenses.

I recently purchased: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003EB0AY8

[h=1]Fotodiox Lens Mount Adapter - Minolta MD, MC Rokkor Lens to Canon EOS Camera Adapter, for Canon EOS 1d,1ds,Mark II, III, IV 5D, 5D Mark II, 7D, 10D, 20D, 30D, 40D, 50D, 60D, Rebel xt, xti, xs, xsi, t1i, t2i, 300D, 350D, 400D, 450D, 500D, 550D, 1000D[/h]

uring the time of buying this adapter I received two lenses but neither appear to actually fit the adapter. I need any information regarding these lenses and the process of using adapters on the t1i.

Thank you in advance!

The adapter you bought is for manual focus Minolta lenses - the lens you have is auto focus, which is a different mount.

The AF mount is the 'A-Mount', which is the same mount Sony DSLRs use today - the 'α mount'.
