Miss Veedol is a replica 1930 Bellanca CH-300 that will recreate an around the world flight next year commemorating Clyde Pangborn and Hugh Herndon’s 1930 epic flight. This was the first aircraft to fly non-stop across the Pacific Ocean. It was in Toronto for the CNE Airshow to commemorate Canadian Erroll Boyd who was the first Canadian to fly solo across the Atlantic in 1931. Miss Veedol will also be on display at the Toronto Aerospace Museum on Tuesday September 6th for a symposium so anyone who would like to see it and is close should drop by. The admission is only $5. Later this week it will move on to Quebec and the New Foundland before flying back across Canada and returning to its home base in Washington State.

I had the extreme pleasure of performing a photoshoot on Saturday morning but thick clouds botched a good shot of the plane with the city and time was at a premium so we could not stay up for long.

Hey Chiller, did you make it to the show? I know you must have heard the fighter jets blasting around and maybe the shadow of the B-52 was cast upon you once or twice. I know he was holding in the east end of Toronto.

Stunning shots Airic. All of these are just brilliant. I made it to the show today...Sunday. Had an awesome blue sky to shot at, but ...gheesh..these things are fast. I heard the fighters buzzing around my neighborhood all weekend. The B-52 almost took off my dish off the roof. :lmao:

I noticed the B-52 on Saturday was all over the city flying low. I think they had a great time and should be flying out on Monday sometime.

It is pretty evident why all these pilots seek out Airic for Air to Air photos. Stunning work.

Beautiful shots! Great job! The black and white one is nice, but I really love the color options here b/c of the contrast between the red plane and the low tones of the city.
