Mono Lake for the weekend!!!

Some people from class and I planned a weekend trip to photograph mammoth mountain, bodie, mono lake and everywhere in between. So here are some Shots that ill be using for some assignments . These are my Favorites. I took over 1,000 shots and these are my favorite out of all.

Looks like an alien landscape, good pic's. Where exactly is mono lake? Looks like a place I would like to visit some day.

Thankyou Guys ,
Mono Lake is in Northern California just west of San Francisco. It was about a 6 and half hour trip for me and two of my photography buddies.
We took the trip for the weekend we had been planning that photo trip for a while now.

The lake is uber salty. Those rock looking things are actually salt mounds.

The larger salt rock formations are called "tufas" or "trufas" i forget.
