Moon with airliner

    Took this novelty shot last week, not a composite... just fortunate (didn't even know the plane was in-shot using mirror lock-up). Filled just under half the frame so cropped. Personally, moon shots are rather boring to me but they are a handy reference for testing new gear.... in this case a lens.

    Cool shot. Just curious, what was the lense size and shutter speed?

    Really nice with the plane... it would even look good without the plane. nice job.

    Thanks. Yep, looks like it's off to the dark side of the moon. Trouble is, it's the sort of image you could knock up in photoshop in a minute.

    nice shot!

    pitty, yes......but it's also because of the fact it could be down on ps that makes it better......as i find anything that could have been real pics done on a comp, it sort of takes the impressivness out of the shot.....

    what a weird shot! made me look twice at it. It's great!

    And love the amount of detail in the moon there. Awesome lens.
