Not up to Daan's or TCimages standards, but I try...

1. A spider

Can't say I'm too happy with these. Had to crop more than I like doing to get a decent image size and think the PP might be a bit OTT. The 60mm macro is a good lens, but it hasn't got the best working distance if you want to get really close - min focus is 200mm. At that range even the insects get spooked. I also find that the flash tends to fire over the top of the subject which doesn't help either. Now, about that 180mm L series, or bigger bugs...

I still think these are pretty nice. I like the second one.

I'm looking at getting a 105mm macro, but I'm debating if I want a "fun" lens, or something better for walking around and not having to change my lens 50 times...

*sigh* I need more money.

Chris, no need to hide with these!
If you knew what my Sigma zoom lens gives me in its macro settings.... you'd be PROUD!
But I'm learning that I better use the speedlite more often when I try to get some insect or spider photos! Only do I need that diffuser...
I should join in with Lyncca's sigh ...

were the hell did you find that spider? Its nice and fat, lovely buggers.
And the pics are great, good colors and the sharpness is awesome too, but the titles are the best ;)
