more fun with fire / steel wool and long exposures

Some of my friend's friends (buncha rambunctious college hooligans) wanted to try doing some steel wool long exposure shots. Ended up with these

The third one is really the best, the first one is kinda too much exposed ans the models ... the light on them ....

You see I prefer the last one since there is no other light source and it really helps to make the photo stand out.

thanks man! I liked the sparks in that one the most. It was actually lit by my iphone i do believe (along with the sparks), so there was a (semi weak) external light source

Each one has some nice things about it. In #1, you have three girls--always a good thing! In #2, the San Diego street sign adds a location clue and I like that, but the girl in the center of the circle is a drawback. #3 is classically the best, most-balanced composition and has the fullest use of the entire frame's compositional space.
