I've not posted for a while as my laptop has been away for service and repair. I had been out taking photo's trying to add to a project i have set myself. I had a few that needed a little work and these are the four that i will include in my project book.

    Critique welcomed.

3 is my favourite. Are all the subjects really covered in that grain? or is it a PS job?

    3 looks very appocolyptic.

    nice job

3 or 4 for me. 3 on top.
No 4 has a bit of a strange look. The clear spots in the cogs and fork are too evenly distributed. Natural wear is normaly random but localized.

My favourite is 1 and I wonder if that is a bit of frost on all of these abandoned things?

The 'grain' is indeed frost. In the week before christmas we had a week of very dense fog and hard frosts. I had a couple of days off during this and went to the local woods armed with my camera. Wanted to get some eerie foggy shots but came across a burnt out car and motorbike so i decided to shoot those aswell.
