    Good shot - very sharp and the depth of field is very good (I must admit I got addicted to f2.8 just cause I could when I got my sigma macro!)
    I think the only think in this shot not working is not the insect, nor technical skills, but the background. The section out of focus on the right is clashing with the main focus and left side of the shot.
    You might also try a 90degree rotation of the shot to make the insect at a normal angle - I find myself twisting my head as I view this to look at the hopper properly.

    Nice capture! The only problem I see is the oof leaves on the left side (too close for focus). Nice job tho! :)
