This was my 2nd time in the studio and my attempts at trying to be a little more creative, I'll get there eventually, hopefully. Unfortunately we only ge the studio for 2 hours at a time and that includes the time checking out, setting up, and putting up the lights and everything.

I don't know much about studio work/lighting but IMO the lighting looks a little flat. Great ideas, I'm sure someone will post with a more technical response. :)

BTW, where are you in Texas?
I'm near San Antonio. :)
 
cool, I haven't been up that way in a long time...
Someday(soon) we are probably going to visit Amarillo... Lubbock is on the way. :D
 
nice subject... i agree with the first reply, the lighting does not seem very strong in the first 2 pics. a little strong in the second last pic.
 
I believe the first 3 pics I only had one strobe on the left with a large softbox.

On the others I also have a strobe with an umbrella on the right
