Morning Suprise from Balcony

I have lived at my present location for 2yrs, I am up before the sun pretty much every morning.
I was headed out the door for work and was :shock: at the sunrise. I have never seen it like that ever
Ran for my camera and started shooting, the colors sure disappeared quick. Needless to say I was late for work....well worth it.
What I would have given to have a half decent foreground :evil:
The photo's have not been touched
If any one has Ideas to improve the pic's .....Please share

Nice! Only thing I can say aout these is maybe correcting the tilt of the horizon in the first one.

The last two pictures are amazingly colorful especially that last one. It also looks as if the sky were on fire. I've never seen that kind of glow either. They were definitely worth being late for work. I agree with core about the horizon.
