Mother and daughter

This is a good friend of mine, Kanthi. The little girl in pink is her daughter Felicity on her 7th birthday.
The original was underexposed so i rescued it in PS and kinda like the effect.

I hate it when I post and get NO response.

So, I'll try to address a couple of issues here. The posing is the biggest problem. You have too much space between mom and daughter, creating a gap that seperates them. There's a large "something" in the foreground that, along with the white blanket, obscures much of the subjects. These few adjustments before tripping the shutter would make a big difference.
