I headed out on a dreary, muggy Friday morning to attempt to shoot some pictures
of the riders out at Texas World Speedway. This is a sampling (very small) of
what I was able to get yesterday. They are, of course, very compressed and
resized a LOT for the sake of the forum here.

These are great -- I see very few examples of perfectly panning and not blurring the subject. Great job, showing the speed while still keeping the subject crisp and clear.

Wow, I love these. Those guys freak me out when they get that low. I love the panning.

Thanks guys. I really enjoyed taking these. I almost enjoyed taking the photos
more than I wanted to actually be on the track. Almost.

Most were shot at about 1/160.
