MOtorcycles after WOrk

my buddies and i rip our "mini's" around a vacant parking lot after work.
i brought my camera the other day and got some good shots.
i really liked this one.


opinions???

not a big fan of the into-the-sun flare in this shot...

also, the background, foreground, and truck are a little distracting...

like... if the post wasn't titled "motorcycles after work" i would not have known that the cycle was the subject of the photo... know what i mean?

bc of the sharp color contrast, the first thing that really grabs my eye is the ramp leading off the truck... and i don't think that's what you wanted!

It sometimes works when you break A basic photography rule. I believe this one broke every rule.

there's rules?

i like the solitude of it.

knowing that just out of the frame there are 5 other bikes.

and about 3 minutes after the shot.. a LOT of noise and action.

If that is what you were trying to capture I would got rid of the motorcycle and helmut and left the truck, ramp, and gas can. That would of told me someone is out riding motorcycles this evening.
