Mountain Weekend

Here are some pictures I took while at our mountain house this weekend. I took the quality down to 50% so they would go full size on photobucket. But I should be adding them on my dA account at full quality tonight or tommorow.

These first 2 are of Bass Lake. I got up at 5:45 so I could get them...

This one was taken at a golf course where they were doing fire works. I don't know who the girl is in it, but I really like the result.

This is a Black and White of a flower outside of our mountain house

(Not sure why it ended up having a greenish color in the background. The Black and White film was pretty old so I'm guessing that may be the reason.)

These are some old stairs outside our mountain house.

Once these are loaded full quality on my dA account I'll give yall the link.

Any comments and suggestions welcome.

Out of the images your posted, I like the last the best. I like the texture. I like photograph that I can almost feel with my hands when I see them.

If the lab printed it in a machine which wasn't set up for B&W they can come out with colour tones. Sometimes they run it through set on colour and as a result the machine prints with more than just black.

I find #3 very striking where I think it deserves a thread all on it's own. The lighting and shadows are really good and the girl really makes the picture. Well seen.

Now I can see the shot with the girl. Earlier it was an almost black photo for me (sun on monitor). I much prefer that one now. The red dress makes her look like she's abandoned her date and is walking home alone. Or something like that. Sort of sad, but then she's walking into a warm light so maybe it's a good thing for her.
