I'm a fan of Micro shots, usually you end up seeing things you don't see with the open eye. One day (hopefully soon) I will be able to step up to a DSLR. I recently got a good deal on a Canon SX10 haven't had a chance to try out the Super Macro yet. Pics below were shot with two different P/S, First shot is with my first digital DX6490, the second with my Z612.

The first one had promise, but you've cut off a few of the flowers and that OOF stalk running through the photo is very distracting.

good job. i think the second is very pretty. i might have taken it at a different angle to get more of the log in the background, just me personally.
