    Hi guys
I need computer savvy people help.
I made a 30 sec movie(by accident to begin with lol) at the radiohead concert i was just at and because I didnt realise i was actually recording i had the camera held vertically.
Now the movie has come out that way and the software won't allow me to rotate it so its the right way up as it wont rotate that type of file.

Does anyone know how I can rotate an AVI file?

There's a rotate filter that should work in that program :)

When you download the program and get it running, open the video file
Make sure in the video menu it is set to Full Processing Mode, and the Audio menu to Source Audio, Direct stream copy

Then go back to video menu, filters, add, rotate, and press OK. Set your angle and press ok

Then go to File, Save as AVI and that should just about do it :)

I just tried it myself (i did the same thing) and it works for me

If you don't want to do all that just send it my way and I'll see what I can do

Or, watch it lying down.

I can probably think of a couple of people who'd even volunteer to help you with that! :D

pfft it's not that hard...I mean if I can do it anyone can :p

Just do what I said above:
Open your video file, then go to the Video drop down menu, click filters
In the filter screen, click add and scroll down until you see rotate, click on it and click OK. Check the rotate left or right 90d button and press ok
Then go to the File drop down menu and save as AVI. Type in the name of your new file and press OK and that's all :)
