It's my first DSLR and am very excited about it. Any advice for a new beginner?
Yes ... Open the box! :lmao:
Have fun with it. Take zillions of pix. That's how to get better. Read 'Understanding exposure' and 'The Photographer's Eye'.
haha, trust me it's already open!!!
Get a Nikon j/k Enjoy your camera and I would say read like crazy the anwsers are out there about almost anything.
Send it back, quickly. You won't stop spending if you keep it!
Congratulations on your new camera
haha, yeah... I'm already looking into spending on new lenses... I've caught the addiction
I'm jealous that yours came with the IS kit lens. That will help you out with slower shutter speeds in lower lighting. That's my only complaint about the non-IS kit lens is that low light situations suck.
Woo Hoo! That is the same one I just got!!!! I'm reading Understanding Exposure and taking an online class. Have fun...it's addicting
Quick! Delete this post before my husband sees it!!!! He must never know
Congrats on the the new investment, I am sure you will enjoy every min with it..
HSMOM,,,,,,As for the online class you posted earlier can you share where you may have found these. I am looking for such as well...... Thanks in Advance....
Great camera, I wish MrFedex would send stuff like that to me
That almost sounds like the X-files
Here's the link to the one I'm taking. It was posted on a yahoo group I subscribe to.
