This was a two-day event held on the grounds of Mt. Vernon (yeah, George Washington's home). Quick edits so I could post these in a meet-up group I was coordinating for the event.

This was not a recreation of an historical fight, just an assembly of units. In the actual revolution, the colonial ground forces lost 3 fights for everyone battle they won (they just happened to win a bunch of significant ones like: Saratoga, Cowpens, and Yorktown). Most of the british and loyalist units were from Canada (i.e.: Canadian re-enactors) so they left early and the Brits were badly undermanned for this fight and they lost handily.
