Mushroom

    Lately, after bein so dry this summer, we've had a few showers, and the mushrooms have really came up. I have never really thought of mushrooms as a subject for a photo, but this one turned out kinda neat.

    Oh yes, it DID turn out "kinda neat", that much is for sure. I like how those leaves a) give a splash of green to the pic :)biggrin: ) and b) point from the tree trunk towards the mushroom. Maybe I find the mushroom itself a bit too centred and that bit of other mushroom on the right a bit distracting, but those things can very easily be corrected by a bit of cropping, so that's no big deal.

    I wondered if the other mushrooms should have been edited out, I did take another shot of the same mushroom, and went and edited out the small one that is closest to it. It's also zoomed in more.
    This mushroom just looks "old" to me... that's what caught my eye.

    nice job on this new one too, i think i like the tighter crop/comp better... for the same reasons LaFoto mentioned above... :thumbup:
