I actually like them. It adds to the image, IMO.

Here's one that I'm on the fence about.

I love the detail and texture of the saxophone, but I'm really not happy with the composition. This is a crop. The original is a tweener. Doesn't show enough, yet not tight enough to really work.

I think that's a good catch, Jazz. I hadn't noticed it at first, I think because of the background and his hair, but his face does have a bit of extra red in it on my monitor. It's not much: like he's been exerting himself. Part of it could be some red transmitted from the walls.

Matt, I like these. I really like how the sax comes out in b&w. I know what you mean about the crop, though. That's a tough one. Maybe having a little more to see on the bottom? The ends of the fingers don't sit quite right with me.
