I think for the sake of review and organization, you should post some photos in this thread of what the lens can do.
The other thread looks like you were having some pretty rudimentary issues like exposure... Sort that all out, then update this thread with what you got.

I think people will really like seeing a review, and will come up in searches that will help in the future if someone is looking for this.

Ive not been out anywhere where i can shoot long .Ill try and get up in north ga mountains this weekend .Ill try both the new auto focus and old manual lens 800mm.Now that i have the right tripod, it will be good too.A lot more sturdy.
