    My five year old daughter. Can you tell she was getting annoyed with me?

    Great capture of a moment. If you could do some work to bring out her eyes, it would be even better, but I do like it. I love the pout.

    Haha, this is great! The little flyaway hairs really add to the general poutiness. I do wish her chin wasn't cropped off, and I agree about the eyes comment too. It's an all around sweet shot, though- very cute!

    Thanks guys. How do I work to bring out her eyes?

    It is a shame her chin and top of her head is cut off. You just gotta be quick with this kid or you miss it all. That is why I prefer still life. Inamiate objects can't run away or make a face like this:

    I might give her a try later tonight once the beastlings are down for the night. I can't tell you what to do, but I can try and tell you what I did.

    Feel free. :) I think I may start just shooting in color, then converting to B&W for better results.

    I left the hair in her eyes and tried to bring them out a little.....OK - let's see if this looks any different...
