This is my first pic of my 3yr old Caitlyn on my new cam. Seems as if Photobucket has scaled down the pic from it's original size and it's not as clear as it was.

I'm not sure if it was a great setting for a photo shoot. She looks awfully cold!

But there are very many quite, quite distracting elements in your photo.
Somehow it looks quite unplanned.

Resize your photos for webshowing before you load them into Photobucket. A good size is between 600 and (max.) 800 pixels wide for a horizontal pic. Then save them not at 12 "maximum", but at 8 "high". Then Photobucket will leave it alone and you have all the control over your resizing.
