My Elusive Heron

    I've seen this GBH a few times last year and have not seen it at all this year until today. I was there around 2:30pm and spotted the Heron walking along some wetlands probably looking for food. He didn't see me at first because there are bushes and reeds between us, so getting a good shot was challenging as well not to mention the harsh lighting at this time.

    i don't know, these shots look pretty good to me. anytime i get anywhere close enough to take a decent photo of a GBH, they take flight. Stubborn birds don't like having their photo taken.... nice shots here though :thumbup:

    #s 3 & 4 are very good, they do seem a little light and I on my monitor it normally dark, I would try tweaking the levels little
