My Fat Cat

    My Digital Rebel XSi arrived in the mail today and the first thing I found to take a picture of was my cat. He's fat, but it's hard to tell from the photo. :p

    I also took one my other cat. She is not fat.

    Both pictures aren't too sharp and have a lack of depth / saturation / contrast. They aren't also that interesting too look at (sorry, being honest), so don't expect much CC

    #1 is out of focus in the eyes and part of his ear is chopped. Watch your overall composition when shooting to ensure you have everything in the frame. I would even suggest get more than you need and crop out later on as taking out is easy, putting in is a bit harder.

    #2 also has chopped ears and the picture is a bit boring. The cat has awesome eyes, so zoom in much closer and work with those.
