He let me practice a portrait session on him. What are your thoughts on composition and lighting. All comments are welcome. Refresh if it's not there.

Hi! Nice "grungy" feel to your backdrop--I like it. Not crazy about the tennis shoes being the largest focus of the picture. Maybe if he were to sit at the table and leand forward towards you it would help bring his eys and face to the foreground. I'm sensing somewhat of a red cast to the picture as well, but it may be my monitor.

I tend to not care for the size distortion that a wide-angle lens brings to portraits. Here, his shoe is wider than his shoulders.
