My first attempt at Macro

This is my Fiance's engagement ring. I tried it from several different angles but do you think the focus is correct on this picture.

hmm....hard to say whether the focus is correct or not.....but from the picture.....the focus seems to be between the arm of the ring and the supporting cloth.....where the image is sharpest.......the diamond seems to be a bit blur........whether it is correct or not....that depends on your desired focus point.......cheers

It looks good to me, but I think just a little more tilt toward the cam would
have enabled a better focus on the diamond
