    Your first attempt was an absolute success! My only suggestion would be to raise the light source on the right above the baby's head and angle it down about 45 degrees, or to have used a reflector to get rid of the shine on the right side of that beautiful face....

    For my part I like he shot. I would like to have seen it vertical and all of her body in he shot or a tighter crop on the sides. I like the shot a lot though. the glare on her cheek is a bit distracting I agree. However all that said it is a very nice shot.

    She's adorable. I agree that the lighting is a bit hard. I think this will work nicely for a greeting card :)
