2nd pic is ur best. I would not go with the purple tint, reminds me of some erotic style. First makes me sick ( to close to dog)

I actually prefer the first one. Maybe a little close but over all I like it.

#1 needs a bit more dof imho, focus too soft, both his nose and ear are oof and even the eye not quite crisp. x2 on the purple tint.

hehe I like the 1st pic alot. It's as if your dog is posing and working the camera. Nice doggie portait =) I wish the face was more focused though.

The 2nd I don't like too much because of the purple tint and the dog's ears disappear into the shadows so it just looks like an animal with no ears.

#1: To much dead space at the top. Crop it away! Maybe a little unsharp mask?

#2: Not a fan of the purple tint. If you want to tint it, go with a very subtle warm or cool color. (Im more of a fan of warm colors, but cool colors work better sometimes)
