Hi All, I'm hoping I get this right, after reading the "How to structure your posts to get critiques on your work (C&C)" thread. Anyways, let me start off with the gear I currently have: Nikon D60 Body 18-55mm VR Lens (the one that came with the body And here are 5 samples of my work, taken in Montreal a few weeks ago: ISO200 28mm F/7.1 1/800sec. ISO200 28mm F/7.1 1/800sec. ISO200 26mm F/4.2 1/3sec. ISO800 36mm F/5.3 1/10sec. ISO200 28mm F/7.1 1/640sec. I've been at this for a while, as I picked the camera up in March of '08. Everything has been processed through Lightroom (with some help on panoramics from Photoshop). I'm pretty much just looking for pointers, in terms of composition, as well as the settings / techniques I used. I have been shooting in full manual, doing adjustments to aperture and shutter speed (as well as ISO), to expose my shot. In terms of composition, I wanted to try and work on a "Simplify and Exclude" technique (thanks to Ken Rockwell), but throughout the trip, I was nothing but rushed! So, any advise is welcome.
