i took this photo with my new nikon 80D, the first SLR camera i've owned. i have used point and shoot digitals for the past 5 yrs. please feel free to comment.....

You have a good looking man in your life there.

Usually head shots of dogs look better cropped verticle.

It is very well done though and I like it of course im a dog lover anyway.

This is a really great portrait. I like the horizontal crop, probably because it is unusual. I also like how the background has a little texture but is solid and doesn't distract. My suggestion would be to leave a little more room around the top ear. The crop seems a little tight.

not only am i learning about SLR cameras, i just bought a macBook and am learning about that too! i don't know how to resize photos yet for attachments. on my pc i use irfanview but i don't know what to use on my mac, LOL!
