I took the time to do some promotional work for my photography, and handed out business cards & flyers around town to specific clients. HOLY SMOKES! The next day I got an e-mail requesting an official quote for photo services for a well known, reputable company. They want 9 different shoots done in the next month! I'm sending them a quote after doing a lot of research, so lets cross our fingers! This is the kind of gig that can catapult my career! Please give me your thoughts and experiences.

nice job on getting your name in front of potential clients. i believe that is one of the big hurdles to launching any business.

if you have done your research the pricing should come relatively easy. i'm in a similar situation in pricing out a shoot that is coming up. being a total noob it can be a little intimidating.

i'm following a lot of the great advice on this forum and it seems to be working out.

good luck and let us know how it works out.
