My first HDR

    Any C&C is welcome. I just got the software,so I went outside and took 5 quick pictures. -2 -1 0 1 2 EV. I tried to keep it realistic looking, so hopefully i came kinda close to that?

    Not to bad for a first attempt really. There really isnt much to comment on as its really just an HDR snapshot.

    Yeah, i just wanted to see how the tone mapping is. I'll try and get a better composition shot within the next couple of days

    also next time try to tonemap the halos out.

    How would I do that? haha sorry. I literally have like an hours worth of HDR

    just play around with the tone mapping controls to get as little halos as possible.

    "Halos" are simply areas of high contrast between colors. The computer gets too aggressive and introduces subtle, but noticeable artifacts like that.

    My concern, are the nuclear colors. Depending on what you are using, you want to dial down the vividness of the colors, to bring some reality back into what we are seeing.
