My first hour with new lens..

I just got the Canon 75-300mm USM III a few hours ago.
I am sure these will be nothing like some of the pictures posted here but I wanted to share because I felt really discouraged while out that non of my shots were going to be sharp and that they wouldn't come out at all well but for me I was pleasantly suprised..
Sorry some of these are underexposed it got very dark and started to rain..

You may be able to improve them with a little PP work.

No editing..
I could do some lightening on them maybe when I upload them to Flickr.

I upped the exposure on this one, but to be honest the bad exposure just gives me an excuse to try harder next time ..

That photo above^^

You increased the exposure too much and now there's a blue halo around the bird. Just be careful not to over do it. Try shooting in RAW next time for more control over exposure.

Keep shooting ...Have fun.... Wildlife shooting is addicting . Try lots of settings and refer back to the exif data to see whats working or not.
Good shots are few and far inbetween but when you get one ...Well the feeling is just to cool!
