I actually think it creates the right *impression* with the grainy outlook.

May I ask (and sorry to ask) where exactly this scene is? At first I thought you went to my hometown:shock: then after another look, I realised how silly I was. With a comparison of surreal touches of different kinds, I come to appreciate your photo even more:)

It was not me who did it. I used to take it as my avatar. I attached it because I couldn't find a handy photo to furnish an illustration of taste differences between the East and the West. I think it's certainly not the bridge by its own right, it must be the overall milieu that is at working. This is why I tend to favor keeping the grass in your photo. To me the entire scene is quintessential English. No wonder it's in New England.
