Those are very beautiful images of a sweet looking (and very expressive) child. I especially like the choice of B&W and the lighting, plus the dark background. Congrats on the shots and your daughter.

Continuing to qualify your original statement isn't owning it. It's qualifying it in the hopes that you can feel good about having actually posted it. Where you were coming from was a place of assumptions and moral based accusations.

I am speaking up for the unnamed forummer who will find this thread, or other threads you haunt, and will be turned off to this place (and thus turned off from seeking help in this great sport of ours) because of a perceived "personality" that is in no way indicative of the reality of this place. That you see this as a "fight" isn't surprising that you see it that way. Make it "personal" if youd like Chris, but hell we've been down this road before and will go down it again, and after awhile - hopefully - folks will see through the constant stream of Mea Culpas on your part and just dismiss anything you say altogether. In the end bro, you're really only hurting yourself.

FWIW my boss' kids, all girls aged between 3 and 8 regularly strip to total nekkedness and frolick in the sprinklers and on the trampoline on a hot day. No one blinks an eyelid, it's just young kids having fun. We just laugh at them and egg them on

ETA: The first thing I noticed is that she still has her milk teeth which, at a rough estimate, would put her at no older than 6.

Well this thread is just a sorry result of the state of our world today. At least in the USA. When we were young, my sisters used to run around half naked also. Heck we took baths together till probably somewhere around 10 years old. ( before puberty ).

Now a days, with all the perverts , and all the PC stuff going on, it seems that times have changed, and what was once perfectly acceptable, now causes pause.
It's a shame. And I do believe it's as Peanuts said, because of the perverts.

I would have hoped that this particular community was above such things, as for the most part it seems to be made up of worldly, mature and somewhat sophisticated people. But the larger it gets, the more it will reflect society which includes those who will turn gold to crap, with backwards thinking.

Best to lead them into better thinking by example. :thumbup:

im sorry to everyone that I let it get this far, and did my part to keep it going. this thread, after a nights sleep is just sad, and kinda funny LOL.

I was angry, and to me justifiably so. On my end, I let my emotions run wild, because like I said, being a good parent and family man is the only good and right thing I've done in my life, and I take pride in it, and am fiercely protective over it. So when someone implies something as heinous as taking questionable photos of my own children, I just flip. It's taken many years, but I've learned to control the reigns of the violent anger of my youth, BUT there are a few things that can flip that switch like I was 17 again, and one of those things is anything to do in a negative manner with my family.
So, hence, the blowup, and my part in the name calling, and blind anger.

Chris has pm'd me as well as posting his apology in this post. I didn't reply so I can bring this public, as it has been this whole time. It started public, and figured it best to end it public. Anyway, I accept his apology and offer him mine as well for some of the things I said about him personally. I do not apologize for gettng mad, but i do apologize for the things I said.

Anyway, hopefully this is the head that the bad vibes on this forum has been coming to, and we can all move on and just keep taking pictures, and trying to get better each time.

Glad to see a happy ending here. We already lost a lot of great posters here, really do not want anyone leave this forum just because of this type of situation.

Anyway, everybody (me included of course) need to think before posting. And sometimes, it is better to put some emotion or tone in your message so that someone may not interpret differently. I am sure everyone knows already.
