My first time trying macro

Okay I did it the ghetto way and just held my 50mm backwards up to my 35-80mm set at 80. I bounced my speedlight off the ceing and shot at an ISO of 200.

So.... are they okay for my first time taking a shot at this? Any tips?

the last one is amazing!! i really like these reversed lens pics... im just wondering how you go about focusing these pics, also can you get ridiculous magnifications with this technique? i wouldnt mind getting in reeeeeaaally close!

Thanks eveyone. Want me to post more later? I can't wait to try some more tonight.

I just set the camera on manual and the only way to focus was to physically move the camera in and out. It is a lot of fun once you get the hang of it.
