    Way underexposed and way too much red saturation. Crop in a lot tighter. The pose and expression are great though, which is the true heart of the image. The rest is just post-processing.

    ok so how does this look?

    now youll notice that the background has some frames in the background, that was the reason for the black background in the other pic

    all i did with the pic above was crop, bump contrast and lower the saturation

    Your grandpa, huh? What a good sport he is! But I bet there's little he wouldn't do for the grandkid.

    I do like you're edit... nice improvement. The little bit of detail in the background doesn't bother me.

    the crop is better.... i think it may work well in B&W as well
