My Guitar And Me - Two Edits and Original

My sister took some pictures of me at a recent concert we did. I was sitting in the gazebo with my guitar.

This one turned out nice, but I want to use it as an avatar. I used Gimp to up the contrast, brighten the picture, and in the bottom picture, I cleaned up my ugly mug and made my face clear up, teeth get a little whiter, a little more reflection in the eyes (is that cheesy looking?).

You can make your eyes brighter and your teeth whiter without upping the contrast that much. I do think thats maybe a little too much contrast but since its apicture of yourself if YOU liek it that is wonderful. I know I have a hard time choosing one of myself that I like no matter what I've done to it!!!
