Went to the fish store last night and snagged this little guy. He's already settling into the tank and happily munching away at some algae. He's a Blenny of some sort, I forget the latin name on him though.

I like the second one. Great detail. You can see the veins on the fish!

I've been meaning to get some whole-tank pics, so yeah, I'll try to get some up--maybe this weekend or early next week (spring break, so I'll have time on my hands and no papers to grade!).

And yes, that is a shrimp in the background of the one shot. I have 2 shrimp in there-- a cleaner shrimp and a peppermint. This one is the peppermint. The blenny thought it was the cleaner though, and was backing up to him to hopefully get cleaned. He's cute, but dumb. ;-)

They're all great shots, John, but for pure enjoyment I don't think the first two hold a candle to the third. He's literally peeking out at you. It's soooooo cute!!! :D

See what you've done?? Barely in the tank 24 hours, and you've made him camera-shy.

Nice shots (as always) of a little cutie....I always liked the blennies and gobies "standing" on their fins and looking at the world.
