Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Here's a couple of B/W shots I took with
my Nikon D40. I was using a blue filter
(80A) with no editing done.

The dog isn't the only one in the mud.

Adjust levels and contrast so it actually becomes a black and white photo.

Hi there TekGino,
Beautiful dog you have there

I'm a dog owner myself with two Staffordshire Terriers that find themselves in my viewfinder all the time!, anyway after many shots and experimenting I found an article online about shooting pets which suggested coming down to their level

I tried it right away and found the shots to be much better, different angles has already been mentioned.

Nice pics
Regards, Andy

Thanks guys, I appreciate it! I think the blue
filter had something to do with the contrast.
I was going for a softer look, not typically seen
in B&W photos. Usually B&W are very hard contrast,
and rustic. I'm still experimenting with my new
Nikon D40, and will be trying out different filters.

I see what you mean about coming down to their level.
I posted a different pic over in the beginers section.
