My son and grandfather

    I shot this on a walk the other day and I have to admit, I love it. I'd also love some c&c though. My grandfather's birthday is next month and this is going to be his gift. He's always had sort of a special bond with this particular son. So, watcha think? What can I improve on in this shot? Besides my grandfather being cut off. Did that on purpose. I wanted the perspective to be that of the child.

    Only thing i might would do is add a little bit of contrast.. But.. I like contrast.. lol

    Other than that, i think its a great shot.

    Thanks, Parkerman. I appreciate that. I'll try it with a bit more contrast. I've been fiddling with it all morning. lol!

    your second shot is great! keep up the great work. Being a dad of three boys, I can relate :)

    Thanks! Yes, we have three boys too. Ages 4, 4 and 3 no less! We also have a charming little girl. She helps balance us out. :)

    It's adorable and I'm sure he'll love the shot.

    The only thing that might be nice is to darken your son's hair just a smidge so it isn't so similar in tone to the background.

    Very touching photo.
