Please let me know what you think of these. Nikon D90 + Sigma 18-50 f/2.8
Cute snapshots! I love the spidey helmet! =)
I like the angle on the first one. Great shot.
IMO the backgrounds are cluttered and take away from your son.
Yeah, guess you can't always be in a studio environment when 'moments' happen.
Thanks for the input!
it's hard to know what tone this was meant in...but it's great to capture the moments...they are called "snap shots" =)
I disagree... a snapshot doesn't have much thought put into it. For these I handheld a strobe to get the effect I wanted, and at least for the first one - controlled the angle.
A snapshot would most likely be me pointing down and pressing the shutter release button.
I do agree that the background isn't ideal, but sometimes you just have to work with what you have available.
that's exactly what these look like...except that it also looks like you ran an action after the fact to make them pink.
Nice pictures. I think the second is very nice, it has less shadowing than the first.
Thank you... good point on the shadowing, perhaps a diffuser would help... I had the flash about 3' to camera left with about a 45* bounce.
HAHA! What a cool little dude sporting the spiderman!
Looks almost old enough for a P&S...lol
