I realize there is probably a defect or glare in the tile but i think i would clone out those white spots by his head

You were talking about the few white spots on the top right of his head on the photograph?? I changed them, you may need to refresh your page, or clear your cache.

This is a cute shot for your memory book.
There is a lot of non-contributing, empty space around the baby. Why not crop it off and center attention on him?
