Hey there, I'm the latest n00b on the forum. I've already posted a couple things here, but just noticing the new member area.
Just a tad about myself:
25 year old female nursing student. I've been taking pictures for quite some time now, but just got the funding for a dSLR (Rebel XT). I haven't taken many pictures worth while with the new one, but below I'll post a couple that I've taken with my point and shoot and my dads wanna-be dSLR.
As you can see, I can squeeze water out of a rock. I've actually sold a few of the following pictures as well as being able to join a local artists guild with them - they're not bad for a 5 year old point-and-shoot!
This one was taken with my dads camera - lol he claims that my little camera is better with lighting than his and thats why his pictures come out looking crappy. Good ol' moms - mom says its the person behind the camera that makes the difference.
Yeah, dad, it's the camera *snort*
