This was taken with a 4 second exposure to smooth out the water of the river. I like the affect.

It's located in very remote country in northen Australia.

The water reflects the colour of the sky in a wonderful way, although it is such a long exposure so the water would become all smooth and fog-like. I like this much!

Just lovely colors. I liked your idea of using long exposure for such a shot. It creates a very nice foggy and flowing effect of the river

Great shot. Love the colors, love the fogginess (is that a word?) of the water, and I even think the black border holds the picture in very well.

Only problem I have with the picture is the blurred branches and bushes on the sides of the photo. I realize there isn't much you could have done about it if it was windy out.

    nice work.

Thanks for the comments everyone, much appreciated.

Yeah it would be nice if they were in sharp focus, but unfortunately not (and it was only a gentle breeze). I can't crop them out, and I don't think PS can do anything either. Oh well.

It does tell you that there was wind though!

Yeah, I wasn't suggesting you could do anything in PS with it...just giving the critique (after all, this is the critique section).

You do however make a good point...with the branches blurred the picture does "talk"

    Again, great picture!
